The WNMU Alumni Association is seeking dedicated alumni who want to stay connected, give back, and help strengthen the Mustang community.
Nominations are now open for the WNMU Alumni Association Board of Directors. If you have time, ideas, experience, or resources to share, we encourage you to nominate yourself or a fellow Mustang for one of our upcoming board vacancies.

WHO CAN SERVE?
Graduates of Western New Mexico University are eligible for nomination. You may nominate yourself or another WNMU graduate for consideration.
WHAT DOES THE BOARD DO?
The Alumni Association works to advance WNMU by building loyalty, fellowship, and commitment among alumni and the university. Board members help:
- Strengthen connections among alumni, students, and the WNMU community
- Keep alumni and friends engaged with the progress, achievements, and needs of the university
- Create opportunities for alumni to support and participate in university activities
- Support scholarships, student assistance, alumni recognition, Homecoming, fundraising, and other Alumni Association initiatives
BOARD COMMITMENT
The Board meets approximately three times a year, with additional committee and special project participation quarterly or as needed.
