The Office of Alumni Affairs supports WNMU’s strategic priority of increasing opportunities for meaningful community-wide collaboration and engagement by consistently creating events, partnerships, and initiatives that connect alumni, students, and the broader community.

Through a wide range of activities such as alumni & friend socials, tailgates, the Alumni Golf Classic, and the Alumni Hall of Fame ceremony, the office brings together diverse groups to build relationships and strengthen university ties. These events not only foster engagement among alumni and friends, but also encourage participation from volunteers, donors, and local partners.

Additionally, collaboration is reinforced through partnerships with campus entities like Athletics and involvement in community events such as Grant County Day at the state capitol. The Alumni Association Board further enhances engagement by involving members in governance, policy development, and committee work, ensuring alumni voices remain active in university initiatives.

Together, these efforts demonstrate a consistent commitment to building connections, encouraging participation, and strengthening relationships between WNMU and the communities it serves.
